A day out to the Spainish lake district today it was a little drier than the English one!
There was quite a long road climb near the start but once on first single track it was just fantastic.
I was starting to get used to the marble effect on some of the trails now but there were a few scary moments.
There were quite a few spainish walkers out but there was no conflict like a few places in the uk.
After lunch it was a bit of a climb with a bit of a push as well I could of rode it I think if I had a bit more traction but there was a lot of loose stuff on the trail.
The after lunch down was scary! big slabs of rock to roll down with patches of sand inbetween.
Back to the minibus for a an uplift as far as the road went then another 30 mins of climbing it was a real beast in the afternoon heat.
The down hill section after was real brake burning stuff (bigger rotors next year). I was feeling a bit under biked at times guess slowing down a bit would of helped!
